Zeiss Super Resolution Microscopy Demonstrations

Come along to the Bio21 Institute and have a demonstration of our world-first adaptive optics super-resolution microscope.

The Zeiss Elyra LSM880 has two lighpaths which are both capable of Super-Resolution Microscopy applications.

1) The Elyra lightpath is equipped with an Adaptive Optics Module, to enable the highest resolution single molecule localisation microscopy applications, down to 20nm resolution.

2) The LSM880 lightpath is equipped with Zeiss' Airyscan detector enabling a 2-fold increase in resolution over standard confocal imaging. In addition, the Airyscan fast module is extremely useful for acquiring super-resolution data at extremely fast acquisition rates.

Demonstrations: All demonstrations will take place at the Bio21 Institute, The University of Melbourne (30 Flemington Road). Please sign in at reception at least 5 minutes ahead of your allocated time.

Registrations: Free and open to all. Please register for demonstrations using the links below. Places are limited to 5 attendees per demonstration, so only register for one of each of each demonstrations.
